It is our name for an engineered quartz slab made in two layers. The body is tinted to match the face, so it carries the base look of the design. A digitally printed surface layer adds the fine detail you see on the face. The name does not mean the slab is built up by an additive 3D printer.

Limits: The printed surface layer is thin. The fine surface detail does not run through the slab.

The body is tinted to match the face; the surface detail is printed. At a cut edge you see the tinted body, which echoes the face instead of showing a plain white core. The fine surface detail stays on the face.

Limits: The edge echoes the face. It is not the same as the face.

Kitchen countertops, waterfall edges, islands, bar counters, table tops and vanity tops. Walls work too, including shower walls, feature walls and niches.

Limits: Not recommended for floors or outdoor use. See the next two questions.

We do not recommend it. The printed surface detail layer is thin, and a floor is walked on every day.

We recommend indoor use. Our UV lamp test covers the ink, but outdoor weathering of the finished slab, including rain, heat and the resin in the slab, has not been tested.

Custom sizes from 1400 to 2000 mm wide and 2000 to 3500 mm long. The largest slab is 2000 × 3500 mm.

Limits: The thick edges you see in kitchen visuals are mitred build-ups made from strips of the same slab, not the slab thickness.

Yes. Send a photo, a web image or a shot of a sample slab, with the slab size and application. We send a window proof first, then build the production file for the full slab. You must hold the rights to use the image.

Limits: Very saturated turquoise and cyan tones are outside the printable range.

Not every color. Stone-look palettes fit inside our printable range, but very saturated turquoise and cyan tones cannot be reached with sublimation inks. We check your design and tell you before you order.

Every design has a fixed 10-digit color code, and a code already issued to customers is never reassigned. Quote and order by the code, and confirm color against a physical piece before your first container.

Limits: We do not claim that production batches show zero color difference. Our written batch-matching procedure is not published yet.

We build color models from spectrophotometer measurements of printed charts for each ink set and board, convert designs through those models, and match production to the physical proof you approve.

Limits: We do not claim that a slab matches a screen, or that it looks the same under every light.

Yes. We print with an 8-color lightfast sublimation ink. In our in-house test under a standard UV lamp it showed no visible color change after more than 600 hours, while conventional ink faded visibly at around 70 hours.

We have not published a crystalline silica test report yet, so we make no silica claims. Rules differ by market. Australia, for example, prohibits engineered stone products that contain 1% or more crystalline silica.
